INFO: Enabling detailed logging within the Client Side (32-Bit) Zetadocs Factbox



This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

  • 32-Bit NAV and Business Central On-Premise Installations
  • Zetadocs Capture


For any technical issues experienced with the Client Side Factbox related to the capture feature, it may be necessary for the logs to be gathered with debug logging enabled. This technote will outline how to change the log level as well as how to gather the logs for the client-side Factbox.

More information

  1.  Navigate to a page with the Factbox installed within a 32-bit NAV/BC Client
  2.  Click the question mark icon within the pane that allows for dragging and dropping in the Factbox
    1. Select 'About Zetadocs' and change the 'Logging Level' dropdown to 'Debug' 
  3.  Restart NAV Client after making the changes for it to take effect.
  4. Once this has been done and you have reproduced the issue, you can gather the ZetadocsCaptureAddin.log from the temp folder of the user running the 32-Bit NAV/Business Central Client (see below for example)
    1. C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\Zetadocs
