FIX: Incorrect caller information being received on an incoming call using Standard FOIP connector

ID: ZTN1833

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

  • Zetafax Version 2010

If a previous fax is received with CSID information and it fails midway through the receiving process, the next fax received will have the CSID information from the previous attempt if the new sender’s CSID is blank. This results in incorrect sender information appearing for a fax message when using the Standard FOIP connector.

This issue was caused by a fault in the Zetafax Server software.

An update is available for download here which resolves this issue for Zetafax 2010 systems.
