FIX: Zetafax client does not install or upgrade on some non-English systems
This Zetafax technical note applies to:
Users installing or upgrading to Zetafax client 2009 (some non-English languages) may receive an error that the installation failed.
A fix is now available to resolve this issue, please go to our software updates page to download the relevant Zetafax patch.
For upgrades, a workaround is to change the language (to English) in the Zetafax client before upgrading. Then do the upgrade and change the language back (in the Zetafax client – Options – Customize) afterwards.
For new installations, the workaround is to specify English language during the installation. Once installed, change the language if necessary (in the Zetafax client – Options – Customize).
This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
