PRB: 1603 error installing Zetafax Server, Client or Zetadocs PDF

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

  • Zetafax Server & Client v.2008 and Zetadocs PDF v.5


On some machines, you may be unable to install the Zetafax Server, Client or Zetadocs PDF.
The install wizard fails with the message “The wizard was interrupted before...could be completely installed”.

An error status of 1603 is seen in the install log.


Please contact Equisys Support for further details of a fix.


This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
