HOWTO: Upgrading from a trial system to a full version and registering online Print ZTN1696 ID: ZTN1696 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 2008 Summary This document describes how to install a full Zetafax license while retaining all the settings you configured with the trial system. More information If you have successfully trialed Zetafax and wish to retain settings such as users, devices and e-mail gateway functionality when upgrading to the full version please follow the instructions below: Stop the Zetafax server service. Launch the Zetafax configuration console and navigate to Licensing and Registration. Right-click on Licensing and Registration and select Modify/Upgrade License Details. Enter the new starter system license number you have received over the previous trial license. Click on Next and enter the software assurance license number, if you have purchased one. Select the Register online button. Add the Company name and select the Register button, the Product Registration Page should open already populated with the license key details. Add any remaining missing details and when completed click the Register button, your registration code will be emailed to the email address provided on the registration page. Enter this registration code into the License and Registration Wizard, select the Finish button to complete your registration process. Restart the Zetafax server. Launch any Zetafax client and send a fax (anywhere). You can now use your system as before.
