PRB: Documents fail to send via fax from the Zetadocs Client

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

  • Zetadocs PDF version 7.0 and below


All documents sent via fax from the Zetadocs Client fail to send.


This problem will occur if Zetadocs cannot detect logon details for the Zetafax Server. If Zetadocs cannot get logon details it is unable to logon to the Zetafax Server and so cannot send faxes.


The logon details are usually written out to the registry by the Zetafax Client when it is first closed, after having been connected to a Zetafax Server. Please ensure the Zetafax Client has run and closed at least once before attempting to send faxes with the Zetadocs Client.


This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
