FIX: Issues when scanning using Zetadocs and some scanner models
This Zetadocs technical note applies to:
- Versions 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 and 5.0 of Zetadocs for NAV
- Version 8.0 or earlier of Zetadocs PDF
When scanning a document using the Zetadocs Client you get errors, crashing or unexpected behaviour.
When scanning a document to a Zetadocs for NAV Document Queue then NAV crashes.
When scanning a document by using the scan button on the Zetadocs for NAV Document Fasttab then NAV crashes.
These symptoms are only seen when using some scanner models.

There was a memory bug in the Zetadocs Client scanner interface code which was exposed by some scanner models and was therefore not found in testing.
Version 5.0 of Zetadocs for NAV Systems
This issue has been resolved in the Version 5.0 of Zetadocs for NAV Platform Feature Pack, available for download here.
Version 4.2 of Zetadocs for NAV Systems
This issue has been resolved in an update available for download here.
This fault was corrected via an update and in the Version 5.0 of Zetadocs for NAV Platform Feature Pack
