FIX: Exchange email gateway stops processing fax messages

In rare cases, the email gateway, when configured for Exchange 2007 and above, will stop processing fax messages. The rest of the Zetafax Server runs correctly when this happens. A restart of the Zetafax Server service is required in order to restore functionality.
The Exchange email gateway queries Active Directory for some server default options. This can sometimes fail for an unknown reason, causing the email gateway to freeze and stop processing messages.
There is a workaround for this fault in a hotfix, which is available by contacting Equisys Technical Support and quoting the technote number ZTN2096. This hotfix provides the ability to skip the Active Directory search, and fetch default coversheet, letterhead and message format options locally within an INI file.
A workaround is available in the hotfix detailed above.
