FIX: Error message 'Field number 0 is not defined in table' is displayed when archiving documents

ID: ZTN4266

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

  • Version 5.0-5.5 of Zetadocs for Microsoft Dynamics NAV

The following error message is displayed when archiving documents:

Note: The table name may be different.

This issue can occur when the Zetadocs Metadata Mappings have been changed to use a fixed value for the ZetadocsOrganization or ZetadocsRecordNo metadata fields.  The highlighted row in the screenshot below shows an example of this:

For the two fields mentioned, the software is not taking note of the mapping type configured in this table, and so is still trying to get the value of field number 0 in the target table.

This issue has been resolved in the July update rollup (5.5.305) of Zetadocs for NAV, available for download here.

This fault was corrected in the above mentioned update.
