PRB: Missing archives link in the Zetafax client folder list

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

  • Zetafax version V6.01 and later

Symptom

After enabling archiving a pointer to the archives folder is not created within the Zetafax client folder list.

Cause

The path of the Zetafax archive folder has been set as a local path.

Resolution

Set the path to the Zetafax archives folder within the Zetafax configuration console using a UNC path (e.g. \\FAXSERVER\ZFAX\SERVER\Z-RECD) instead of a local path (e.g. C:\ZFAX\SERVER\Z-RECD).

Status

The behaviour of the software versions given above is as designed.
