PRB: Email Name is greyed out when configuring MAPI to forward faxes to Outlook

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

  • Zetafax server 2007

Symptom

When following ZTN1008 under the Zetafax user properties, Email Name is greyed out when configuring MAPI to forward faxes to Outlook.

Cause

This is a known issue with Zetafax server 2007.

Resolution

A workaround is to manually edit the userlist.ini file (located in the \ZFAX\System\Z-DB directory) to include these lines under the user you wish to receive faxes:

MailInbox: YES
MailName: user1       (where user1 is the mail profile name).

Status

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
