PRB: Brooktrout TR1034 gives an incorrect error message when sending to a busy number

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

  • Zetafax v2010


When sending a fax to a number that is in use an incorrect error message of " Call not answered ()" is reported in the Zetafax Server log when it should be displaying “Phone number busy" .


This is due to a problem with the “Retry if voice answered call” option because the error code is cleared when it is attempting to determine if the call failed because it was answered by a human.
