This Zetafax technical note applies to:

  • Zetafax FaxBroadcast version 10.0.21
  • Zetafax Server version 10.0.451 and later - the version of the components within the server-side patch series.  How did we decide on 10.0.451.  I would have thought 10.1.451 anyway.  Ideally the version number here should refer to the version number shown by Help-About in Zetafax Server monitor.

This technote describes the features available in the Zetafax FaxBroadcast Client.

More information

The Zetafax FaxBroadcast Client allows you to deliver multiple faxes via the Zetafax Server.

Features include:

  • Importing contact information from any ODBC compliant database.
  • The FaxBroadcast wizard, allowing fax jobs to be set up quickly and easily.
  • Resend option for both all recipients of a fax job or just failed fax recipients.
  • Dialling restrictions - allowing the number of dial attempts for each message to be managed and stopping further attempts on voice answered calls.
  • Data reporting on all fax jobs - allowing you to generate reports detailing the number of failed, sent and total faxes in each fax job.
  • Export option - allowing information to be gathered in a csv file for integration with your database.
