FIX: Zetadocs Factbox fails to search for documents in SharePoint after changing password Print ZTN4495 This Zetadocs technical note applies to: Zetadocs for NAV 9.0 and earlier Symptom If a user whose SharePoint credentials have previously been registered in the the 32-bit Zetadocs Factbox successfully changes their password, then launches the NAV client and opens again the 32-bit Zetadocs Factbox, an error message is displayed (“Failed to search for document in SharePoint”). It is not possible to resolve the issue from the NAV client, the credentials must be manually deleted from the credentials manager, for the factbox to prompt for the SharePoint credentials again. Cause Zetadocs does not handle certain exceptions thrown by SharePoint authentication Resolution As a workaround to the problem the user may manually delete the relevant SharePoint credentials from their Windows Credentials Manager, and restart the NAV client for it to prompt for the credentials again. This fault was corrected in a hotfix, which is available by contacting Equisys Technical Support and quoting the technote number ZTN4495. The hotfix includes changes which will now prompt for re-entering the user’s credentials in case of any error during authentication. Status This behaviour was corrected in the hotfix detailed above.
