PRB: When sending using Zetafax SMTP Server and viewing the sent items in the Zetafax Client, there is no summary information in the message list

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

  • Zetafax Server versions 2010, 2011 and 2012 when working with the Zetafax SMTP Server

Symptom

When sending a fax via an SMTP client, a copy of the sent message is visible in the Sent Items section of the Zetafax Client. However, on viewing the Sent Items section, there is no summary information in the message list, it appears as ‘()’.

Cause

This issue was due to the SMTP information not being parsed correctly when a fax is sent via SMTP and captured by the Zetafax Client due to differences in the format of the message information.

Resolution

A hotfix is available to address this error for Zetafax Server version 2010. For other versions of the software, please contact your local support office or reseller.
