PRB: The Outlook address book is not displayed when accessing it for the first time
This Zetadocs technical note applies to:
- Zetadocs Client version 9.0
When using the Zetadocs Client integrated with Microsoft Outlook 2007, on pressing one of the “To”, “Cc”, “Bcc”, “From” or “Fax” buttons in the Zetadocs Client, the address book is not displayed as expected, but the Zetadocs Client is locked.
This is due to an issue with accessing the Outlook address book through the Outlook object model.
When this issue occurs, the address book is actually opened in the background. To make it visible, click on the Outlook icon in the task bar and the address book will be displayed.
After this has been done once, the address book will appear normally on any further attempts.
This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
