FIX: Unable to Delete from Zetadocs Factbox
This Zetadocs technical note applies to:
- Zetadocs for NAV v7.1
- Zetadocs Express v7.1
When attempting to delete a document from the Zetadocs Factbox in the RTC or NAV Web Client one of the following errors is displayed:
“Failed to delete document from SharePoint. Please try again. If the problem persists please contact your Administrator”
“Failed to delete document. The reason is undefined. If the problem persists please contact your Administrator”
This error applies to systems archiving to the Zetadocs SharePoint library where the site URL does not contain a subsite, e.g. https://company.sharepoint.com/Zetadocs/.
This issue affects all attempts to delete from the SharePoint site by using the Zetadocs factbox.
This issue originates from an internal change of behaviour caused by applying a previous fix.
This fault was corrected in a hotfix, which is available by contacting Equisys Technical Support and quoting the technote number ZTN4440. The hotfix corrects the internal behaviour and allows for documents to be deleted from the Zetadocs factbox.
This behaviour was corrected in the hotfix detailed above.
