PRB: SR140 Channels hang intermittently after sending faxes

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

  • Zetafax 2012 Platform Feature Pack and earlier


The Zetafax Server hangs intermittently when sending faxes through SR140 channels. Restarting the Zetafax Server enables you to resume sending until the issue happens again.


This issue is caused by an unexpected error when receiving a fax, once that error occurs, the status of the channel is not correctly reset, meaning no further incoming calls can be accepted.


A hotfix is available from Equisys Technical Support which resolves this issue.


This fault was corrected in the above mentioned hotfix.
