This article describes the new features and other improvements in the July 2021 update of the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Extension for Business Central.
Release date, version and availability
July 13, 2021 (version 2.0.21177.1) available for download for on-premises Business Central systems from the release date, and on Microsoft AppSource for Business Central Online systems within ten working days of this release date.
Changes in this update
Zetadocs Search SDK
It is now possible to programmatically query SharePoint Online for related documents linked to Business Central records without invoking a delivery or capture action first.
This is particularly useful in cases where you want to perform an action in Business Central based on the related documents that have been linked e.g. blocking posting unless a particular document is linked.
This feature is detailed further in the Zetadocs SDK Guide.
Quality and performance improvements
This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including the following:
Unable to display archived documents when the archive path includes a #
Special characters in Business Central Customer and Vendor names are now supported when used as part of the folder name in SharePoint Online.
Essentials users cannot delete documents from the FactBox
Resolved an issue where users that had been assigned a Zetadocs Capture Essentials or Zetadocs Delivery Essential license where unable to delete documents from the Zetadocs Documents FactBox.
Unable to clear current logs from the Zetadocs Activity Log
Clicking 'Clear Current Logs' on the Zetadocs Activity Log page now cleans up the detailed troubleshooting log entries from the activity log.
Attachments added on the Zetadocs Delivery preview are not sent when using the RTC
All attachments are now attached and sent correctly when using the Business Central 14 Role Tailored Client with Zetadocs Delivery.
Select Attachment button is greyed out on the Attachment Selection when using the RTC
Resolved an issue with the attachment selection buttons when using the Business Central 14 Role Tailored Client with Zetadocs Delivery.
All Zetadocs Users are notified to run assisted setup
Only Business Central users assigned the Zetadocs Admin Permission Set are notified to run the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Assisted Setup if it has not been run already.
Error displayed when clicking Zetadocs Send button on Customer Card
Resolved and issue with the report filters used by the Send Reminder and Send Fin. Charge Memo Zetadocs Actions menu on Business Central Customer lists and card pages.
Error when clicking back button in the Zetadocs Template view page
Updated the Zetadocs Permission sets so that Zetadocs users no longer receive an error when navigating away after viewing the Zetadocs Template.
