Print

ZTN1330

ID: ZTN1330

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

  • 7.5.1.91 and later

Summary

You can create an ODBC link from the Zetafax client to access other address books. However, when you try to access an Address book in Goldmine which uses Dbase you will get the following error message.

Zetafax cannot directly access the data contained in a Dbase file as it is stored in a propriety format.

Resolution

If the data is stored in a SQL database you may be able to link to it via an ODBC connection.

However Equisys has developed a Zetafax Connector for GoldMine® add on for FrontRange Goldmine® version 6.0. For more information please visit the Equisys website

Status

This has been identified by Equisys as functioning as designed issue with the software versions given above.
