Summary

This technote describes how to show a print progress dialog for any print jobs sent to the Zetadocs PDF printer.  This may be desirable when printing large documents so that the user has an indication of progress.

More information

The print progress dialog can be enabled by following the steps below:

  • Go to the Devices and Printers dialog.
  • Right click on the Zetadocs PDF printer and select printing preferences.
  • Change to the Start Application tab
  • Change the ‘Application’ to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Zetadocs PDF\ZDPrintProgress.exe” and make sure the ‘Start Before Printing’ radio button is selected as in the screenshot below:
