FIX: Zetafax Online ignores any Zetafax or service provider settings for number of retries.

Symptom

Zetafax Online currently ignores the number of attempts setting, both in Zetafax queuing and retry parameters and in the service provider settings. Only two attempts are made.

This symptom occurs on systems trying to send faxes using the Zetafax Online service.

Cause

The initialization of the external fax services was hardcoded with a fixed value of 1 attempt.

Resolution

This fault was corrected in a hotfix, which is available by contacting Equisys Technical Support and quoting the technote number ZTN2085. This Hotfix fixes the issue by using the queuing and retry parameters setting in the Zetafax Configuration options.

Status

This behaviour was corrected in the ZTN2085 detailed above.
