FIX: Zetadocs PDF client and configuration programs do not start

This Zetadocs PDF technical note applies to:

  • Zetadocs PDF version 1.0


When you run the Zetadocs PDF client or configuration program, the program does not start up. The process is created (zdclient.exe or zdadminconfig.exe) but no UI is visible.


This can be caused by an invalid network path within the Network Folders in the configuration program. In order for this problem to occur, the network path must be invalid due to the host computer being unavailable on the network.


Either remove the network path from the Network Folders list in the configuration program, or ensure that the computer which hosts the network path is available on the network.


This problem has been fixed in Zetadocs PDF v1.1


This behaviour was corrected by the update listed above.
