PRB: 'Loading print job' message is displayed continuously in Zetadocs Client when upgrading

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

  • Upgrade Zetadocs Client system from v5.5 to v6.0 or later


When upgrading the Zetadocs Client from version 5.5 to 6.0 or later, it is observed that some systems display ‘Loading printing job…’ followed by ‘Print job in progress. Waiting for it to finish.’ message continuously:


This issue is caused by the printer expecting to find a pending file in the temporary folder.


Please follow those steps to solve the issue:

  1. Close the Zetadocs Client.
  2. Open a Windows browser, browse to your temporary folder

Typically: C:\Users\< username> \AppData\Local\Temp

Where < username> is user as you are logged as.

  1. Select all documents, and delete them.
  2. Test the system opening again the Zetadcos Client.


This fault was corrected following the above steps in this technical note.
