This technical note describes the new features in the Platform Feature Pack for Zetafax 2009.

The Platform Feature Pack for Zetafax 2009 adds support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. It comprises a full release of the Zetafax Server and Client software, for use with the Zetafax 2009 SP1 release.
The update is available for download in two versions, both comprising Zetafax 2009 SP1 plus the Platform Feature Pack in a combined installation package:
- Individual component downloads. Customers with Zetafax 2009 SP1 need only download the “Server and Client” component; customers upgrading from older versions of the software should download all components which have been installed. These downloads will replace the Zetafax 2009 SP1 downloads which are currently available.
- Product CD download (ISO image). This is designed for companies who wish to install from a CD rather than installing directly from a download folder.

Status
This update is available free of charge to customers with a Software Assurance contract which is current at time of release, as a combined update with Zetafax 2009 SP1. The update is recommended for all Zetafax 2009 systems running Zetafax 2009 SP1 or earlier.
Customers using Zetafax 2008 or earlier systems will need to purchase a software version upgrade before installing this update. Please contact your local sales office for further details.
