What’s new in Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture May 2025 update

Support for Business Central 2025 wave 1 and quality enhancements

This article describes the new features and other improvements in the May 2025 update of the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Extension for Business Central.

Release date, version and availability 

June 02, 2025 (version 3.0.25127) available for download for on-premises Business Central systems and on Microsoft AppSource for Business Central Online systems from the release date.

Feature enhancements

The following new feature enhancements are included in this release:

Support for Business Central 2025 wave 1 (BC26)

This release has been validated against Business Central 2025 wave 1.

Quality and performance improvements 

This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including the following:

Document queue items remain permanently in a 'Not Ready' state

Resolved a rare issue whereby the items in a document queue remain in a 'Not Ready' state. This was due to an edge case where the document metadata could not be parsed properly.

Zetadocs Delivery attempts to send to incorrectly formatted E-Mail addresses in the CC and BCC fields

Corrected a case whereby Zetadocs Delivery attempts to send to incorrectly formatted email addresses, which lead to the email server returning a non-delivery report to the sending user.

Documents are moved into the "_failedProcessing" folder when the page limit is exceeded for barcode processing

Fixed behaviour so that if the barcode processing addon has no remaining pages for the current period, documents are now left in the document queue folder until the page processing limit has been reset or increased.

Document queue fails to process a Word file when a PDF file with the same name exists in the same queue

Resolved an issue whereby if a Word file and a PDF file have the same filename in the document queue, the Word file is moved to the "_failedProcessing" folder instead of being converted with an updated filename.

Unable to sign in and authorize to SharePoint Online with certain language code settings in Business Central

Fixed an issue with signing in to SharePoint Online from Zetadocs, where a user may encounter an error during the process.

"Sorry we just updated this page" when using Zetadocs Delivery with customizations

Resolved some cases whereby a "Sorry we just updated this page" error is displayed when a user attempts to send using Zetadocs and there are certain customizations in place, typically when sending multiple items individually in quick succession. Note that this error is resolved for this scenario and some related ones only.

Known issues with released features 

Combining or matching all invoice lines using the 'Select All' button when matching lines does not work.

Business Central has a 'Select All' button on most list pages, The Zetadocs AP Automation order matching page does not currently support use of this button, users should either multi-select or individually select relevant items instead. Microsoft have confirmed that this will be resolved in an upcoming release of Business Central.

Multi-selecting invoice lines to match and then reverting to a single selection matches the original multi-selected lines instead

The multi-select for matching is generally functional, but there is a specific case whereby if a user has multi-selected some lines, and then reverts to selecting a single line within that original selection, then the matching will happen for all the original selected lines. There is a fault in the retaining of selection information and Microsoft have confirmed that this will be resolved in an upcoming release of Business Central.

Intermittent delays with documents in Zetadocs Document Queues being marked as 'Ready'

There have been rare instances whereby the items in the Zetadocs Document Queue may remain in a 'Not Ready' state for longer than expected (>30 minutes). Equisys are aware of this and are actively investigating.
