Changes in this update

Feature enhancements

This release contains the following enhancements:

Sign-in performance

Introduced a new setting to limit the amount of data Zetadocs Expenses retrieves when a user signs in. This helps to improve the performance of the initial sign-in process on systems, where users may have many years' worth of data that can take a long time to retrieve.

This new setting can be found in the System Settings -> User Experience -> Client Sign in Data Limit (months).

Google Maps navigation options

The Google Maps integration, used for mileage expenses, now offers improved navigation options. A new streamlined camera control button is available, which expands to provide options to navigate and zoom the map more easily.

Save as File progress indicators

A new progress dialog is now shown when using the ‘Save As File’ option to export approved reports to a CSV file, so that users can see how many reports have been processed so far.

Quality and performance improvements

This update includes various improvements including the following:

Background server performance improvements

Optimizations have been made to the background server processes to improve client refresh time, workflow actions and general system settings performance.

Expense report approval tasks display 'Period Start Date' and 'Period End Date' as the current date

Resolved an issue whereby the start and end periods on expense report approval tasks were not displaying the correct date. The dates set in the report are now displayed as expected.

Users list in system settings is not sorted by last name

Fixed a sorting order issue on the system settings. The users list is now shown in ascending order by last name.

User role or name changes are not shown in the browser and mobile clients

Added a warning dialog to prompt users to sign out and sign back in to have their new roles or name applied on the Expenses client.

Default approvers and processors able to be set to restricted users

Added filtering to the user details screen so that default approvers and processors can only be selected if the approver/processor is set for all users, or is on the list of allowed users for that approver/processor.

Importing payment card transactions where transaction amount is lower than 1 fails

Resolved an issue with certain format payment card transaction files, whereby if the value of the transaction is lower than 1, and the leading 0 is not included in the data, then the import of the transaction fails.

New custom property value not displayed in Expenses client

Fixed a rare issue whereby if a custom property value has been deleted, and a value with the same name is re-added, then the new property value is not displayed in the Expenses client unless a user signs out and signs back in.
