Brand new look and feel with enhanced navigation

Timemaster has been updated with a cleaner more modern look that helps to focus on the screen context.

Navigation of projects has been simplified with collapsible related links that only appear when you want them to, giving back more screen to the task at hand.

Don’t worry, all your existing menu options are available so you’ll have no trouble finding your way around. It will feel familiar again in no time, just better.

We hope you like it as much as we do.

Single sign-on to simplify password management for
on premise implementations

Managing multiple identities has become a major concern for IT departments as the number of Enterprise apps that require login credentials grow. In large organisations a significant proportion of time is lost by employees looking for credentials and by the help desk on credentials management. IT are always looking for ways to rationalise the number of logins in play.

Now you can login to Timemaster with your Windows account, rather than your Timemaster one. Timemaster offers the option of single sign-on using Active Directory to organisations that have deployed Timemaster on premise . No additional software is required, just a bit of configuration that we’ve outlined in the Timemaster Web Installation Guide. Why not set it up today?

Invoicing is now available in the web client so that finance teams and
project management can use the same interface for billing

One of the key benefits of Timemaster is that project managers and finance teams communicate from the same centralised system, ensuring that all time and expenses are billed and nothing gets forgotten. Until now project managers could manage their work in progress (WIP) using the Timemaster web client, and finance teams could only use the Windows client for the actual invoicing functions.

Invoicing is now also available in the web client so that finance teams and project management can use the same interface for billing, and in doing so simplify the deployment options for IT.

Invoices may be generated for all projects in one go or individually project by project. It’s possible to manually create an invoice if required, edit and delete invoice details, print invoices, change invoice status and create credit notes.

Simpler fee scheduling with a projects overview screen

Timemaster has great tools to help you manage the fee schedule for fixed fee projects. Being able to drill into a date allows you to either spread the remaining fee over a number of months or indeed slip the fee until the work had been completed.

In this release we’ve added a new screen where you can access the fees scheduled for all your projects in a single screen, with access to the same set of tools for managing those fees by drilling directly into each project. You’ll have better visibility of which fees are scheduled to land and when, either for the business as a whole or for a sub-set of projects by using the powerful filtering options available across the rest of Timemaster.

All the enhancements above are available at no extra cost to all customers on an active support plan.
