INFO: What’s new in Zetadocs for NAV - October 2017 Cumulative Update
This Zetadocs technical note applies to:
- Version 9.1 of Zetadocs for NAV Delivery
- Version 9.1 of Zetadocs for NAV Capture
This technote summarises the changes and updates included in the October 2017 cumulative update. This update is the latest version of Zetadocs for NAV (version 9.1.1501).
The following changes and updates fixes are included in this cumulative update:
Error “The value can’t be evaluated into type Date” appears when using Zetadocs NAV Server Delivery.
From Cumulative Update 4 (CU4) for NAV 2017 and CU17 for NAV 2016, Microsoft Dynamics NAV stores request page filters, specifically the dates differently which results in this error. Zetadocs for NAV now supports Date Filters for those versions.
Zetadocs FactBox reports “failed to authenticate” after user changes their SharePoint password.
This issue was caused by the user’s credentials being cached and not cleared correctly once changed. The issue is resolved in this cumulative update.
Zetadocs for NAV reports error “failed to search for Documents” when searching in large SharePoint document libraries.
This error occurred due to an incompatibility with the list view threshold of 5,000 documents. The issue has now been resolved in this cumulative update.
Cyrillic characters not being recognized by OCR.
Cyrillic characters are not processed correctly by the Zetadocs Document Converter service and the output file might contain random ASCII characters which could not be converted properly. The issue has now been resolved in this this update.
Zetadocs Document Converter service stops processing documents in the batch split folder.
This issue to due to too many events occurring in the batch split folder in a short amount of time. Possible causes for this include; a large file being streamed/scanned to the folder, or a large number of files being added to the folder at once. The issue has now been resolved in this cumulative update.
Zetadocs Server Dynamic Command %%[FileAttachment:] would not work when files contained the characters ‘[‘ and ‘]’
This issue occurred to a fault in the parsing logic of the embedded command and it has now been fixed in this update.
Zetadocs Send Customization Codeunit code stops working as expected after upgrading.
Additional manual upgrade steps are required to avoid hitting this issue which are detailed in ZTN4430
The Zetadocs Report Modification tool and the Zetadocs Page Modification tools have also been updated in this cumulative update.
