Changes in this update
Feature enhancements
The following new feature enhancements are included in this release:
More flexibility to customize the AP Automation preview screen
The Zetadocs SDK has been enhanced, so that any field values that are extracted from a purchase invoice may be displayed in the ‘Summary’ section of the Zetadocs AP Automation Preview screen. This allows greater customization of the Zetadocs Preview screen to satisfy specific business requirements.
Business Central 2025 release wave 2 support
The Extension has been validated against Business Central 2025 release wave 2.
Quality and performance improvements
This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including the following:
Improved license upgrade experience
Improvements have been made to the license upgrade process, so that it will no longer be necessary to manually update the Zetadocs licence for any changes to take effect. Changes to the Zetadocs licence (number of users, edition or addons) will be applied automatically.
Quantity and Direct Unit Cost values are reset incorrectly
Resolved an issue whereby if the vendor number is changed on the Zetadocs AP Automation Preview screen, any quantity and direct unit cost values (that a user has edited) are reset to the original values that were extracted from the invoice.
Sort order changes on Zetadocs document queues are not remembered
Fixed an issue whereby the sort order that a user sets on a Zetadocs document queue column is not remembered and instead reverts to the default setting (ascending date order).
Invoice line total is set to an empty value when populating the quantity
Resolved an issue on the Zetadocs AP Automation Preview screen in scenarios where an invoice line total is successfully extracted, but not a quantity or a unit cost. Previously, when a user manually entered a quantity value, this resulted in the line amount value being set to an empty value. This has now been changed, so that in this scenario the quantity will be automatically populated as ‘1’ and the unit cost will be set the same as the line amount.
Known issues with released features
Combining or matching all invoice lines using the 'Select All' button when matching lines does not work.
Business Central has a 'Select All' button on most list pages, The Zetadocs AP Automation order matching page does not currently support use of this button, users should either multi-select or individually select relevant items instead. There is currently an incompatibility between Business Central's select all functionality and the data passed back to Extensions. A technote with a workaround provides more details.
