Zetafax fax server software replaces stand alone fax machines and the need for manual paper-based document delivery, thereby providing a significant reduction in fax and document delivery costs.
Its server client architecture enables from five to thousands of users in an organisation to send and receive faxes from their desktops via a centrally managed fax server.
Automatic routing to desktops in TIFF or PDF format
Faxes can be routed automatically to desktops using DDI, DID and DTMF. Inbound faxes can also be converted to PDF for easy viewing by users without fax software.
Fax directly from Microsoft Office & other applications
Zetafax integrates tightly with both Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes enabling users to manage fax creation, delivery and receipt directly from email client or office applications.
Integrates with specialized systems such as CRM and accounting software
Zetafax offers developers a fast way of adding fax capability to in-house applications. For example, integrating Zetafax fax server software with CRM or accounting packages.

Automate delivery by email and fax
The Zetafax Duo module allows you to automate the creation and delivery any documents via email as well as fax. Content held on paper and in different electronic formats can be merged into `print quality` electronic documents and delivered in PDF format via email and TIFF format via fax.

Software only Fax over IP (FoIP) & Virtualization
Zetafax provides an efficient way to integrate a fax server and IP phone systems, removing the cost of allocating phone lines to the fax Server. Zetafax also supports a range of media gateways that will manage communication between PBXs and the IP network via T.38 and enable conversion from T.38 to T.30 for communication over the PSTN.
Zetafax can also be run in a virtualized server environment using VMWare server with VMWare ESX or ESXi 3.5. When required, the server can be moved to a different VMWare server computer without any effect on fax transmissions. Instead of using a fax board which would need switching to the new machine, the Zetafax server uses the Zetafax FoIP Connector software.
Fax Broadcasting
The Zetafax FaxBroadcast module is an option for businesses that send regular fax mail shots. It provides a specialist client for importing data from ODBC databases and an enhanced server for delivering faster fax throughput.
